A Kiwi Stockfood Company

One day three lads got to talking and found a common interest; to create and grow a thriving 100% Kiwi owned agricultural business that would support our domestic grain growers and New Zealand farmers. GrainHub was formed in September 2018, and we have been processing, manufacturing and supplying top quality stockfeed for the goat, sheep, beef and dairy sectors ever since, establishing friendships and working relationships, with no looking back.

As a Feed Safe NZ Accredited Company and Members of NZFMA, we are constantly striving to maintain and develop premium stockfood products through our stringent stock food processing and handling. At GrainHub we really do believe we are big enough to provide serious value, but have the personal focus to care about your success.

We cover the North Island

GrainHub buys grain grown in New Zealand and overseas, and process grains and stock feeds here in New Zealand at our four main locations across the North Island.

We provide free consultations, deliver stock feeds across the North Island, and can custom manufacture the ideal stock food blend or feed pellets for your farm's specific nutritional requirements.

We also work to re-purpose human-grade food ingredients into stock feeds - both to provide your stock with premium nutrition, and to help minimise waste from the food industry.

Our Sustainability & Compliance

All our new stock feed bags are fully recyclable soft plastics.

We offer Palm Kernel Free and Non GMO stock feeds.

We work with Food Manufacturers to re-purpose food product into stock feeds, preventing nutrients from going to waste.

Our Tuakau Facility is Licensed with MPI as a Transitional Facility and receives hundreds of thousands of tonnes of grain per year from around New Zealand and overseas.

Our transport partners operate a GMP HAACP system to comply with the Animal Products Act 1999 including the Land Transport (Dangerous Goods) Rule 2005.

Dean’s got a strong dairy farming background and loves connecting with farmers to meet New Zealand farming needs. He’s also played rugby at a high level in New Zealand and overseas. Dean tells a good yarn - mostly true!

Vicki’s building a strong dairy farming following in the Waikato. She competes at a high level in equestrian sports and rears calves, giving her a solid understanding of animal nutrition and dairy requirements. Vicki also has experience with milking sheep and goats.

Noel Houston – On-Farm Consultant & Procurement

With 40 years of experience in agricultural services, Noel specializes in cropping agronomy, technical advice, and grain procurement. He works closely with
growers across the North Island and oversees grain drying and storage facilities in Hawke’s Bay as well as Grainhub.

Deane brings a wealth of experience from the meat and rendering industry to his role at GrainHub. He’s all about building strong teams, ensuring top-notch quality, and keeping team well-being front and center. Also, he’s usually the first to show up with seafood for friends and family.
