Canola Meal in Stock Food

Canola Meal in Stock Food

Canola Meal is a valued high protein stock feed ingredient. It's known to be tasty and palatable for livestock, and a readily digestible source of nutrients, which supports the high production levels that farmers aim for.

The high protein content in canola meal fuels excellent animal growth, muscle development, and milk productivity levels. The excellent amino acid profile of canola meal includes vital amino acids methionine, lysine, and arginine, which underpin livestock growth, health and performance.

Canola meal has a high percentage of bypass protein (not degraded in the rumen), which means more of the protein reaches the small intestine for absorption, boosting efficient protein utilisation.

Livestock enjoy canola meal and it is readily digested and highly palatable, making it a good choice for livestock rations.

Canola oil is also a good energy source for livestock, with an energy value around three times that of grain; and it can reduce feed separation, making mixing easier for on farm feed systems.
